I recently stayed at The Lyall, a privately-run hotel in South Yarra. The location was perfect, with shops within walking distance. It was a peaceful and quiet stay, with clean and well-maintained facilities. The hotel had lovely areas to sit and read, adding to the overall relaxing atmosphere. The staff were exceptional, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the breakfast provided was just right. I was impressed by the level of professionalism and friendliness displayed by the staff. a top-notch experience that I would highly recommend.

The room service was fantastic, meeting all our needs, and the complimentary Wi-Fi was an added bonus.

The service was second to none. Quick check-in and out and at other times a discreet attendance. The barman Paul was particularly helpful and engaging. Would thoroughly recommend the hotel

We found the staff to be very accommodating,so friendly and interested in us in general, very knowledgeable and only to willing to help. They gave us a fabulous room upgrade which was a lovely surprise because our weekend away will be our only holiday this year. I cant think of any improvements needed. They respected our privacy yet they were always there if advise was needed. Its the second time I stayed there and we will be back for sure.Many thanks to Nathan and staff. I have been telling all my work colleagues to stay at Lyall. The location is perfect.

The hotel had a great location near some of the best restaurants and shopping areas. the rooms were generously sized and comfortable. the spa treatment was amazing after a long flight. the friendly staff was very helpful, offering assistance whenever needed. it was a great experience.

The hotel was slightly overpriced for the quality of the rooms and the outdated decor. there were some issues with maintenance, but these were promptly resolved by staff.

We had a lovely stay at the Lyall Hotel, situated in a stunning and leafy suburb. The hotel's location allowed us easy access to the Botanic Gardens, the city, and the excellent cafes and restaurants of South Yarra. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, with excellent in-room facilities. It provided great comfort during our stay. I highly recommend this hotel for its location and amenities.

The welcoming and helpful manner of the staff.

The staff were excellent, provided good advice re transport and dining options. The room was comfortable and quiet . The hotel is located centrally for shopping, dining and close to CBD.

The location of the hotel was very convenient, close to shops, restaurants, and public transportation. The room was cozy and well-equipped with amenities, including a kitchenette that came in handy. the breakfast provided each morning was of exceptional quality.

The view from our room was not pleasant, and at times there was noise from construction nearby. some of the furnishings in the room were stained and worn, indicating that an update was necessary.

The hotel is in a great location just off Toorak Road and 2 min walk to south Yarra station. There is a tram stop too a minute away. The hotel staff were all so attentive but discreet which I love. They treated all the hotel guests the same. I'd definately stay there again despite it being a tad more expensive than other similar hotels.

During our stay at Lyall Hotel And Spa, we were blown away by the exceptional service. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cater to our every need. The complimentary drink by the fireplace was a lovely touch, especially since they arranged it when they found out we were celebrating our anniversary. The hotel had all the amenities we could want, including free wifi, a pillow menu, and a bistro for meals. We were also impressed by the excellent breakfasts. Despite a minor issue with a broken dishwasher, the porter quickly resolved it and even saved our ice creams from melting. the service at Lyall Hotel And Spa was top-notch.

Good Service although a little unfriendly. Good range of in room products and services.

I found it unclean. Water stains on the sun curtains and dirty finger marks around light switches and door handles. For a Hotel of this standing and I find that unacceptable.
